This piece is all about my observations of nature at its best. Ever-changing seasons as clouds and sunshine start to shift. I often think through many perspectives of landscapes, water and sky. Then splice them all together to make my abstract paintings. I try to convey peace and harmony even in the midst of darkness.

As a child she knew she would be in the arts someday. She enjoyed acting and singing in her earlier years while creating artwork on the side. Alison won awards for her artwork growing up and continues to win awards to this day.
Today Alison has gone back to her true passion which is painting. She is an abstract modern painter whose artwork has exploded since 2013. Collectors and retailers have sought her work, like West Elm, Pottery Barn and Hotels like the Hyatt Regency. Alison sells her prints worldwide while working on commissioned paintings for interior designers and home owners.
She is inspired by music like Brazilian Jazz, Spanish guitar, her travels throughout the US, Europe, China and the Caribbean, photos she takes along the way, people, life, and most of all nature. Alison as a student was and still is influenced by Rothko and Helen Frankenthaler.

Alison Jerry was born in Wisconsin and eventually made NYC her home for many years as a freelance designer.She graduated with honors and a BFA from Syracuse University.
