Windy Day door Cagla Altincelik

The main idea of the work is to create a modern and sophisticated image of the sky with winds. In the design, I wanted to reflect the idea of how winds create an organized mess in nature in an abstract way. The curvy lines demonstrate the winds blowing from different directions and the dots represent insects, dust and pollens in the air that are drifted away by the winds. In the design I used gradient colors to create the perception of depth; bright blue-green shades for the morning sky and orange-pink shades to describe the sunset in the other color version of the design.

Çalışmanın ana fikri modern ve sofistike bir rüzgarlı gökyüzü görüntüsü yaratmak. Bu tasarımda, rüzgarların doğada nasıl düzenli bir karmaşa yarattığı fikrini soyut bir yolla yansıtmak istedim. Kıvrımlı çizgiler farklı yönlerden esen rüzgarları ve noktalar da havada rüzgarlarla sürüklenen böcek, toz ve polenleri ifade ediyor. Tasarımda derinlik algısı yaratmak için geçişli renkler kullandım; gündüz gökyüzü için parlak mavi-yeşil renkler kullanırken tasarımın diğer renk versiyonunda ise gün batımı ifade etmek için turuncu-pembe tonlarını kullandım.

Over Cagla Altincelik

Cagla Altincelik is an architect/designer who lives in Istanbul. She has been painting and drawing since her childhood. She is also very much interested in photography and sculpturing. She likes working on various disciplines such as interior, product, accessory, furniture and pattern design related to her drawing skills. She is inspired by nature and different cultues in her designs.
