Lauma combines her thoughts and visions in organic and simplistic way, that are easy to grasp and pleasant to an eye. This design brings up idea when mother nature come in your interior. The tribal lines and figures represent ground sky and rivers. Combining these things with free natural brush strokes it makes you feel that you are closer to the nature.

Mākslas mērķis Laumai ir pārstāvēt nevis ārējo izskatu lietām, bet to iekšējo nozīmi. Šis dizains atspoguļo ideju, kā māte daba var ienākt mūsu interjērā. Tribal cilšu attēlotās linijas un figūras reprezentē zemi,debesis un upes. Apkopojot šis trīs lietas ar brīvu colorītu otas triepienu, veido sajūtu, kad esi tuvāk mātei dabai.

Over Lauma Kokorevica

I am Textile and graphic designer who encourage to think outside the box. Working with colors and material for me it's important to show in works emotional attachment to the themes which are troubling my mind. Educated at the Art Academy of Latvia, studied abroad at the University of Bergen, Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design.
